Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026 · Version 2026-09-07
NXTE is operated by Next Talent Inc. ("NXTE", "we", "us"). These terms cover everything you do on nxte.app: playing matches, running tournaments and leagues, adding money to your wallet, and streaming. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.
1. Who can use NXTE
- You must be 18 or older to have an account. Any paid competition on NXTE is 18+ with no exceptions.
- We ask for your date of birth and your location before you can play for money, and we check them. Giving false information to reach paid competition is a breach of these terms and grounds for closing your account and reversing anything won.
- Paid competition is not available in every US state. It is blocked in Arizona, Hawaii, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada and South Dakota. This list changes as the law does. Free play stays open everywhere we operate.
- NXTE is operated from the United States and paid competition is offered to US residents.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by someone you gave access to.
2. Competition on NXTE
NXTE runs three kinds of competition, and the rules of a specific event are set by whoever created it.
- Matchfinder, where you post or accept a head to head or team match.
- Tournaments, run as brackets by an organizer.
- Leagues, run as seasons by an organizer.
Outcomes on NXTE are decided by how you play. There is no element of chance in how we determine a winner.
Reporting a result
- The result is reported by the people who played it, with a screenshot of the final scoreboard.
- Your opponent confirms it, or disputes it, within the window shown on the match.
- If nobody reports or confirms in time, the platform resolves the match automatically using the rules published on the match page. That can include awarding the win to the player who did report.
- Some matches require both players to be live on a connected stream before they can start. Where that applies, the match page says so before you enter.
Disputes
- A disputed match goes to NXTE staff, who decide it from the screenshots and, for a streamed match, from the recording on your own channel.
- Staff decisions are final.
- Reporting a result you know to be false is cheating. It records a strike against your account. Strikes are reviewed, and five strikes closes the account. A closed account forfeits any pending entry or prize.
- Cheating, exploiting, teaming against the rules of an event, account sharing and abusing another player will all end an account and can forfeit money in it.
3. Money
Your wallet
- You add money to your NXTE wallet through PayPal. We never see or store your card details.
- Your wallet balance is not a bank account, earns no interest, and is not insured.
- An unused wallet balance stays yours. Where a balance is dormant for a long time we follow the unclaimed property rules of your state.
- NC (Next Coin) is the on platform token, priced at a flat $0.02 per NC. NC is bought with wallet money, is used only on NXTE, has no value away from the platform, and is not a currency or an investment.
Entry fees and prize pools
- An organizer sets an event as free or paid. A paid entry is bought as an Event Token, and the price is shown before you pay.
- Your entry money is held until the event starts. If the event is cancelled before it starts, it is returned to your wallet in full.
- Once the event starts, a paid entry splits as follows.
| Share | Goes to |
| 85% | The event's prize pool |
| 10% | The organizer running the event |
| 5% | NXTE (3% where the organizer is on Pro Plus) |
What NXTE charges
- Matchfinder: NXTE takes a share of the pot from the winner, at 7.5% on a free account, 6% on Pro and 5% on Pro Plus.
- Event entry: the 5% above, or 3% where the organizer is on Pro Plus.
- Withdrawal: 3% plus $0.30, on every account. There is a $5 minimum withdrawal.
- Subscription prices are shown at checkout. A subscription renews until you cancel it, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current period.
Winnings and withdrawals
- What you win is credited to your withdrawable balance, which is separate from the money you added yourself.
- Withdrawals are paid to your PayPal account. The fee above is taken from the amount you withdraw.
- You must verify your identity before your first withdrawal. We ask for enough to confirm you are who you say you are and that you are 18 or older. We can hold a withdrawal until that is done.
- US law requires us to collect tax details and report prize earnings once you pass the reporting threshold in a calendar year. We can hold a withdrawal until those details are on file.
- Money you added yourself is spent before winnings are. That means a refund goes back the way it came, rather than turning a deposit into a payout.
- We can hold or refuse a withdrawal while we investigate cheating, fraud, a chargeback, or a mismatch between your account details and your payment details.
Refunds
- An entry to an event that has not started is refundable to your wallet.
- Once an event has started, an entry is not refundable, because the money has gone into a pool other people are competing for.
- Money added to your wallet is for use on NXTE. We do not refund a deposit because you changed your mind about playing.
- If we cancel an event ourselves, everyone who paid gets their entry back.
4. Founders Club
Founders Club is a paid membership sold in three tiers. Buying any tier gives you the Founder badge on your profile and Pro Plus for the period below.
- Founding Badge, $24.99, paid once. Pro Plus for three months. When those three months end your account returns to the free tier and you keep the badge.
- Founding Annual, $100 a year. Pro Plus for as long as the subscription is active. It renews yearly at $100 until you cancel.
- Founding Lifetime, $385, paid once. Pro Plus that does not expire. Nothing renews.
- The badge is permanent on every tier, including when the Pro Plus part has ended, and including if you stop paying.
- What "your price is held" means. The Founding Annual price stays at $100 for as long as the subscription runs without a gap. If you cancel and rejoin later, you rejoin at whatever the price is then. It is a separate plan from standard Pro Plus, so a change to the standard price does not change yours.
- What it does not hold. It fixes the price of this membership only. Platform fees, withdrawal fees and other rates can change. We will tell you before a change takes effect rather than after.
- Upgrading. Buying a higher tier never removes what you already hold. Buying Lifetime while on Annual ends the renewal. Buying the Badge tier while you hold Annual or Lifetime adds the badge and leaves your existing membership untouched.
- Founders Club prices are offered for a limited period. When we stop offering them, anyone who has already joined keeps the terms they bought.
Founders Club refunds and cancellation
- Cancelling Founding Annual stops the next renewal. You keep Pro Plus until the period you have paid for ends. Cancelling does not refund the current period.
- One-time purchases, the Badge and Lifetime tiers, are refundable within 14 days of purchase if you ask us at support@nxte.app.
- A refund removes what it paid for. If we refund or reverse a Founders Club purchase, or a payment is charged back, we remove the membership and the badge from the account.
5. The affiliate programme
Approved affiliates earn a commission when somebody they referred buys from us. Taking part is optional and free.
- Approval is required. We review every application and can decline one without giving a reason. You must be 18 or older and your account must be in good standing.
- How a referral is credited. Your referral link stores a code in the visitor's browser for 60 days. The first code wins: a later link from somebody else does not replace it. The code is credited when they create an account, so somebody who already had an account cannot be referred.
- Commission is earned when the person you referred pays. The rate in force is the rate we publish at that time, and we record it against each referral. Changing a rate never re-prices commission you have already earned.
- Referring yourself does not earn anything. That includes a second account, and an account using a different form of your own email address.
- Reversals. If a purchase is refunded or charged back we reverse the commission it produced. Where we have already paid you, we may recover it from later commission.
- Earnings are separate from winnings. Commission is held as an earnings balance. It cannot be staked on matches or entered into events, and it does not move into your competitive balance.
- Tax. Commission is payment for a service, not prize money. We need your tax details on file before we can pay you, and we report payments where the law requires it.
- Payouts are not open yet. Commission accrues to your balance now and is yours. We will tell affiliates before payouts open.
- What ends an affiliate account. Spam, buying traffic or engagement, misleading claims made in our name, bidding on our name as a search keyword, promising anyone rates or features we have not published, or creating accounts to refer yourself. We can remove access and withhold unpaid commission where we find any of these.
6. Running an event
Anyone can create a tournament or a league. If you do, you are the organizer of it, and you take on some responsibilities.
- Say what your rules are, run the event by them, and apply them the same way to everybody.
- Enter results honestly and settle disputes in your event promptly.
- Pay out your prize pool as advertised. NXTE holds the pool and pays it to the finishers you record.
- Do not advertise a prize you have not funded.
- Your 10% organizer share is earned when your event starts and is credited to your organizer balance.
- NXTE can step into an event, correct a result, refund a pool or remove an organizer where an event is being run dishonestly or abandoned.
7. Streaming, content and your name
- What you stream is yours. Connecting Twitch or Kick lets us confirm you are live and, where you turn it on, push your NXTE broadcast out to your own channel.
- By competing on NXTE you let us show your username, avatar, team, results, statistics and event footage on the platform and in NXTE's own promotion of its events.
- You keep ownership of anything you upload. You give NXTE a license to host and display it for the purpose of running the platform.
- Do not upload anything you do not have the right to, and do not upload anything abusive, hateful, sexual or illegal. Chat and event pages are moderated and we remove content and accounts that break this.
- NXTE's own name, logo, designs and software remain ours.
8. Publishers and games
NXTE is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher. Every game name and logo belongs to its owner. Which games NXTE supports can change, including at a publisher's request, and an event on a game we stop supporting may be closed and its entries refunded.
9. Suspension and closing an account
- You can stop using NXTE at any time and ask us to close your account.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.
- Where an account is closed for cheating, fraud or chargeback abuse, money in it can be withheld and prizes reversed.
- Closing your account does not undo results already recorded in events other people played in.
10. The platform is provided as it is
NXTE is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a match will be free of lag, that an opponent will show up, that a game's own servers will stay up, or that the platform will be available without interruption. To the maximum extent the law allows, Next Talent Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid NXTE in the twelve months before the claim, or $100.
11. Changes
We can change these terms. When we make a material change we will say so on the platform and update the date above. Continuing to use NXTE after that means you accept the new version. The version you accepted is recorded on your account.
12. Governing law
Next Talent Inc. is incorporated in Delaware. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles, and disputes are resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware. Nothing here removes a right your own state's consumer protection law gives you that cannot be waived.
